Teaching Portfolio

Welcome to a world of possibilities

My name is Donna Tersiisky.

I am a teacher.

I work in the possibility business.

My job is not to stuff my students' heads full of information.

My job is to show them the possibilities:
the possibilities within design,
the possibilities within technology,
but most of all, the possibilities within themselves.

Credits

Thanks to all of the amazingly passionate and generous people of the Web community who have shared their time, skills and creativity. You have inspired me and helped me learn my craft; I do my best to pass it on.

The site was coded using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and is best viewed in the most current version of Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera.

Credit for the the very nifty jQuery Coda Slider effect goes to Remy Sharp and can be found on his excellent jQuery for Designers site. This effect uses jQuery and Ariel Flesler's scrollTo plugin (and sons).

Thanks to Chris Coyier of CSS-Tricks for the Parallax background effect (resize your browser window to see this).

jQuery Link Manager Plugin thanks to Ewen Elder.

The dandelion Adobe Illustrator brushes are from Emily Portnoi's The Vector Brush Sourcebook .
